El Santuario de Fátima, es una pequeña ciudad ubicada en la zona centro de Portugal a dos hora y media al norte de Lisboa, es una ciudadela de unos 10 mil habitantes hecha todo entorno al lugar donde la Virgen de Fátima apareció a principios del siglo 20, exactamente en 13 de mayo del 1917, a los tres pastorcitos Francisco, Lucia, y Jacinta, donde dijeron a la comunidad local que había dado algunas noticias del futuro de la humanidad, entregándoles cartas con los vaticinios como el fin de la primera guerra mundial o el inicio de la segunda, es mas hasta hace muy poco se creía que el Papa Juan Pablo II tenia uno de los secretos guardados sobre las épocas actuales y de como llevaríamos nuestras vidas alejadas de la religiosidad y del cambio climático ocasionado por los mismos humanos,
Fátima fue nombrada Ciudad en 1997, alrededor de la zona moderna hay edificios muy contemporáneos, hasta un supermercado, una radio, un periódico, y varios edificios de departamentos que son habitados por los clérigos, monjas y sacerdotes, que predican en Fátima, la Iglesia principal es una hermosa Basílica comparada con la Basílica de Guadalupe o la Basílica de San Pedro, cuando uno esta a su alrededor siente la magia de estar en un lugar santo, se respira paz y armoniocidad, tranquilidad que solo te brinda saber que puedes meditar y cambiar en algo tu paz interior.
Fátima se encuentra muy cerca de Lisboa de camino a la Ciudad de Porto al norte, el pasaje en bus te cuesta 23 euros en un bus muy cómodo, lo ideal es que estés solo un full day, tal vez sal de Lisboa a las 8am y llegaras alrededor de las 1030 y luego el paseo es de máximo unas 4 horas aproximadamente, la Basílica de Fátima no cobra entrada y alrededor de las 4 pm puedes ir directo a Porto para continuar el viaje por estas hermosas tierras Portuguesas, un almuerzo en Fátima te cuesta alrededor de 11 euros, no te ilusiones mucho es solo lo básico en un restaurante simple cerca a la estación de buses.

Fatima was named City in 1997 , around the hip area there are contemporary buildings , to a supermarket, a radio, a newspaper, and several apartment buildings that are inhabited by the clergy , nuns and priests , who preach at Fatima Church Home is a beautiful Basilica compared to the Basilica of Guadalupe or the Basilica of St. Peter, when you're around feel the magic of being in a holy place , peace and quiet with yourself, offers you only know that you can meditate and change into something your inner peace .
Fatima is very close to Lisbon en route to Porto City to the north, the bus fare will cost 23 euros in a very comfortable bus , ideally you're just a full day , maybe salt Lisbon at 8am and got here around 1030 and then the ride is about 4 hours maximum , the Basilica of Fatima does not charge entrance and around 4 pm you can go straight to Porto to continue the journey through these beautiful Portuguese lands, lunch at Fatima you costs about 11 euros, not much is your hopes just the basics in a simple restaurant near the bus station .
