Estimados amigos,
Hoy los invito a conocer un poquito de este rincón del mundo de la Europa del Este, capitulos importantes de la historia se escribieron aquí como ser la cuna del nacimiento de quizás el papa mas querido en toda la historia de la Iglesia Catolica como es Juan Pablo II en Cracow, ademas de tener aquí lugar uno de los capitulos mas tristes de la historia de la humanidad con el paso de los Nazis Alemanes, luego de la invasión a Polonia el 1 de diciembre de 1939, los nazis construyeron en 1941 uno de los campos de concentracion mas grandes de Europa, de los varios que hubieron en diferentes lugares nefastos, este en particular funciono primero como campo de refugiados, y luego paso a ser campo de presos políticos para pasar a ser el campo mas grande de aniquilamiento de los judios, donde también murieron según estimaciones posteriores y lejos de la realidad ya que no quedo ningun registro de cuantos muertos hubieron en el campo Birkenau I y Birkenau II, estar allí significa conocer lo cruel que puede ser el ser humano, y fluyen muchos sentimientos de tristeza que te harán reflexionar.
Pero conociendo primero Cracovia fue por muchos años la capital del Antiguo Reino de Polonia hasta que en 1596 el Rey Segismundo traslado la Capital a Warsaw, y luego también la de la Unidad Lituana Polaca, es una ciudad muy importante situada alrededor del rio Vistula, ademas de ser una de las ciudades mas grandes con 760 mil habitantes ademas de ser un importante centro cultural y económico de Polonia,
La ciudad de Cracow si conoces Europa te parecerá muy similar en arquitectura, pero no deja de tener un encanto especial debido a que combina la tradicional arquitectura empedrada y casas muy antiguas pero bien cuidadas, ademas de haber sufrido la 2da guerra mundial, mantiene un aire de cuentos de hadas que varias de estas ciudades tienen, caminar por allí al lado de plazas, castillos y fuertes hacen que te traslades a otra época, el arte y la cultura ademas de centros comerciales modernos, hacen que puedas pasar buenos momentos y divertirte con un turismo sano y de buen clima, ya que la oferta gastronómica y su gente amable te hacen sentir en casa,
El sistema de transporte como buses y trolebuses están en todos lados, los locales nocturnos y los muchos estudiantes en la ciudad hacen que el ambiente jovial te acompañe a todos lados, ademas de los miles de visitantes que conocerás en los alrededores, compartir momentos y fiesta con ellos te ayudaran a pasarla muy bien con una buena cerveza tradicional y local, los taxis uber o de app son muy económicos si es que de caminar no eres, por lo que te invito a conocerla,
Adicional un capitulo aparte es ir al campo de concentracion nazi de Birkenau I y Birkenau II en Autzchwitz, alrededor de un par de horas podrás llegar aquí, donde el museo local, y el campo mismo te llevan a una historia de dolor, sufrimiento, y muerte, que significo la desaparición de mas de 1 millón de personas inocentes del odio y discriminacion, donde los menores de 5 años eran llevados a una zona de cremación y hornos con gas que mataban al que ingresaba allí con sus madres, al igual que los ancianos, enfermos, y discapacitados, y todos los que no sobrevivían a estos campos de trabajo forzado, ellos eran llevados con engaños a este lugar haciéndoles creer que era solo un campo de refugiados, por lo cual los judios llevaban todos sus equipajes y pertenecían eran repartidas y vendidas nuevamente al pueblo alemán, los judios eran hacinados en cabañas con otros tantos y les daban 1 minuto por persona en silos inhumados bajo unas condiciones lejos de la calidad de vida de un ser humano, el sufrimiento, la desnutrición, ya que se basada su triste ración en cafe y pan, y sopa sin ninguna nutriente, cuando lo visitas tu mismo podrás darte cuenta que los judios fueron asesinados por el odio generado por los nazis, y te llevara a reflexionar por lo que tienes en este momento y agradecer lo poco o mucho que tienes en la vida.
