Porto Alegre es la capital del Estado Federado del Brasil de Rio Grande Do Sul, se encuentra ubicada esta Ciudad al extremo sur del territorio brasilero, al lado del Rio Guaiba, es considerada una de las ciudades mas bonitas del hemisferio sur, tiene alrededor de 1 millón y medio de habitantes, zona ganadera por excelencia y agrícola en su máxima potencia son los grandes motores de su economía, además de ser la cuna de razas europeas venidas de Europa a principios del siglo pasado siendo las colonias de italianos y alemanes entre las mas importantes, siendo considerada la Ciudad con mas gente bonita concentrada en un mismo lugar de Sudamérica,
La pasión por el futbol y la rivalidad están en cada rincón de la Ciudad ya que el Gremio y el Internacional juegan en esta localidad, siendo la ciudad escenario de la rivalidad de ambos y si no eres de uno tienes que ser necesariamente del otro equipo,
En Porto Alegre encontraras todos los servicios para garantizar el confort de tu estadía, grandes hoteles y hospedajes, restaurantes de lujo, grandes parques y malecones para asegurarte largas horas de paseos, las mejores discotecas y bares para todo tipo de diversión, como sucede en todo el Brasil, si eres gay, hetero o lesbiana no importa la celebración y diversión están mas que garantizadas, hay de todo para todos, la gente sale a beber cerveza siempre todos los días en sus principales calles, para ver el futbol, después de la oficina, bailan en las calles música tradicional y moderna,
En su rambla o malecón puedes tomar el tradicional paseo por lancha, por unos USD12 dólares americanos que dura aproximadamente unas dos horas, aquí tomaras todo tipo de fotos del paisaje verde de la Ciudad, recuerda que la moneda del Brasil es el Real, por lo que te recomiendo llevarlo desde tu país, o sacarlo directamente desde un cajero automático, ya que hay tasas muy altas al cambio cuando lo quieres hacer en un banco o una casa de cambio,
Al llegar al Aeropuerto de la Ciudad, puedes salir del mismo y tomar un taxi y por unos USD13 dólares americanos te llevaran al centro de la ciudad en unos 25 minutos, o cruzas la avenida y te encontraras con la estación del tren, que lleva a la parte central en un viaje de unos 35 minutos por USD3 dólares americanos.
La ciudad esta básicamente dividida en dos zonas la Cidade Baixa y la Cidade Alta, debes hospedarte en la primera, entre los principales lugares a visitar no olvidar ir al mercado central, muy tradicional, además del tren antiguo que era utilizados por los colonos, el museo de historia, e iglesias, y grandes edificios estaduales muy bien conservados, la buena comida esta garantizada y por unos USD10 dólares americanos podrás acceder a unos buenísimos almuerzos buffet llamado por ellos como buffet libre, podrás escoger lo que quieras en cualquier sitio, y comer hasta el cansancio grandes potajes de la comida internacional, te recomiendo que pruebes la ensalada maionese.
