Estar en New York City es un placer no solo por lo que significa estar alli en esta maravillosa ciudad, sino conocer lo que el hombre como civilizacion ha hecho en este espacio de la tierra, como es la Gran Manzana lleno de rascacielos que sobrepasan los 100 pisos y te hace ver lo que pequeño e insignificante que es el ser humano ante tal hazaña de la arquitectura moderna, New York esta formada por 5 distritos que se ubican al final del Rio Hudson hacia el Oceano Atlantico, en el centro se ubica la isla de Manhattan, un distrito densamente poblado donde están los principales atractivos de la ciudad como el Empire State Building, el iconoso Central Park, los teatros de broadway en la zona del Time Square iluminada con los neones que asemejan a estar en una pelicula de épocas navideñas, por supuesto la Liberty of Statue, El World Trade Center y las Twins Towers, entre muchos otros es en definitiva un escenario de diversas películas que se han realizado en esta ciudad que siempre te traerá recuerdos cada calle cada parque.
Es una ciudad de unos 8 millones y medio de habitantes, ubicada al noreste de Estados Unidos de Norteamerica, donde confluyen muchas razas, idiomas, religiones y como muestra de ello es el China Town o el Little Italy, cuando caminas por sus calles te puedes encontrar con una gran mistura de razas, y de ciudadanos de todo el mundo, por lo que quizás sea la ciudad mas cosmopolita del mundo, ademas de ser uno de los mas grandes centros financieros del mundo con su famoso barrio de WallStreet, o la fabulosa avenida donde las compras es una obligación como lo es la Quinta Avenida,
Quien no haya ido a New York aun no ha conocido el mundo, es simplemente espectacular, todo esta aquí todo lo tiene, no hay mucho mas que decir en si, los museos estan a la vuelta de la esquina como el gran museo judio, o el de ciencias naturales y caminar por Queens o Chelsea es otro placer visual que no puedes dejar de pasar en tu itinerario, la noche es otro cantar los teatros las luces los shows es algo tan cotidiano en la vida comun de los Newyorkinos que te envolvera en esa magia de la cual nunca vistes antes,
El museo de ciencias naturales es un lugar imperdible de tu recorrido por unos $20 dólares americanos podrás recorrer sus diversos pabellones, así como también te recomiendo ir al memorial del 911 en el World Trade Center que por entrar a sus miradores y museos cuesta $22 dólares americanos, ademas de tomar el tour hacia la Estatua de la libertad que esta incluido en el boleto del bus turístico por unos $25 dólares americanos.
Y conseguir alimentacion no es nada difícil ya que hay una gran variedad de culturas y fusiones que encontrar restaurantes para todos los paladares gustos y precios, cafés panaderías están en todos lados, puestos de comida en las calles como restaurantes de comida rapida también estan en todos lados,
Transportarte desde cualquiera de los 3 aeropuertos el John F. Kennedy Newark o la Guardia es muy fácil con el subway, buses o taxis que conectan toda la ciudad, eso si no esperes precios módicos eso aquí no existe, New York es una de las ciudades mas caras del mundo donde un hotel puede bordear los $300 dólares por noche, y ten en cuenta también el trafico que se forma en sus estrechas calles del centro de manhattan.
